On 5th May 2008, 44 yogis from The Malaysian Yoga Society (MYS) set off on a once in a life time trip to the Himalayas. Here are some of their thoughts…

“I know that place in You where entire Universe resides. I know that place in You, of Love, of Truth, of Peace. I know that place in You where, if You are in that place in You and I am in that place in me, there is only one of Us.” — Maharishi

“A most interesting journey with a most interesting group of sincere, loving and adventurous individuals. The essence, vibrations, sceneries, feelings and thoughts will be forever embedded in our heart of hearts. Personally, I felt the overwhelming kindness of the group to me and to each other; and this I feel is the ultimate victory. Jai Himalayas.” — Manisekaran

“The birth of the Ganga… the new beginning. New life begins here and now. May we bring the experiences from this trip back to our family and friends, so others too can have a little glance of the Himalayas.” — Boey

“It was a wonderful journey with all my co-practitioner friends and their families, and mainly my wonderful Master. It has taught me lots of patience and memorable moments with beautiful souls.” — Shanti

“I have found myself. Found caring and loving friends who I have never met. Most important, I’m very happy when I see everyone smiling heading home.” — Pooja

“This was a very special Yatra. A place where we all learnt, grew, shared, comforted, laughed, cried and took everything positively, with Master’s love protecting us all the time. Himalayas, my father; Ganga, my mother; and Master, my guru: what else do I need?” — Sandhi

“I embarked on this journey with no expectations, with just my backpack and a personal crossroad in my heavy heart. Little did I know that on this Yatra I would lose a part of me in the mountains, and then discover more of myself, my purpose and all around us.” — Surya
