Another school where morning yoga classes by MYS volunteers have been more recently implemented on a weekly basis is SJK (T) Sungai Buloh (Sungai Buloh Tamil Primary School) and school teacher Jaya gave a feedback that the two groups are from Standard 3 and 4. The children’s attention span was notably accelerated while preparing to perform their choice of five favourite asanas for a yoga competition in July. The fun element in this unconventional form of goal setting had certainly won them over as there was no pressure involved. Every child was encouraged to just do their best and assured they would be just fine.
